Hoppers Crossing Swimming Club have three different squad levels they are:
Junior Performance Squad - This squad is for those swimmers who can swim back stroke and freestyle, whilst developing both butterfly and breaststroke. It is directed to teach participants all aspects of competitive swimming. i.e. starts, turns and finishes, whilst also enhancing their technique, swimming ability, and fitness.
State Development Squad- This squad is for competitive swimmers aiming to qualify for State. The focus being speed, turns, dives, stroke technique, and fitness.
National Development Squad - This squad consists of competitive swimmers, usually with state times. This squad focuses on harder training, working on strength, fitness, endurance, resistance, dives, speed, and technique.
Club squad sessions are conducted all year round at the new indoor aquatic facility 'AquaPulse', 80-82 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing Victoria 3029.
Note: There is no requirement for our club swimmers to become aquatic members of AquaPulse.
